If you had more than one elf, would it be elfen or elven? Just curious.

We had a discussion on the music that came out of Athens, Georgia and wondered if Elf Power, also from Athens, would live up to its reputation of good music.

The first song was “Paralyzed”. We liked it. I thought it sounded like Tom Petty kind of and Geoff was reminded of Simon and Garfunkel. Either way we enjoyed the mixing of the guitar and vocals. It did not irritate us so therefore it gets thumbs us from us.

The second song was “A Tired Army”. It got a little funky. Geoff thought it was thematic, another one of those “I could see it being used in a movie” songs. Are bands making songs to be in movies? hmmm. The chatroom was also mixed on this song. Mostly negative on this song, but everyone stuck around for the final song.

The final song was “The Demon’s Daughter”. I liked this one. Geoff made some fun of it but admitted he thought it was pleasant.

Overall we enjoyed Elf Power. We see potential and look forward to hearing more from them in the future!

We had a discussion on the music that came out of Athens, Georgia and wondered if Elf Power, also from Athens, would live up to its reputation of good music.

The first song was "Paralyzed". We liked it. I thought it sounded like Tom Petty kind of and Geoff was reminded of Simon and Garfunkel. Either way we enjoyed the mixing of the guitar and vocals. It did not irritate us so therefore it gets thumbs us from us.

The second song was "A Tired Army". It gotnbsp; a little funky. Geoff thought it was thematic, another one of those "I could see it being used in a movie" songs. Are bands making songs to be in movies? hmmm. The chatroom was also mixed on this song. Mostly negative on this song, but everyone stuck around for the final song.

The final song was "The Demon's Daughter". I liked this one. Geoff made some fun of it but admitted he thought it was pleasant.
