We start off our show ranting about fast food, specifically Tijuana Flats. This place used to be one of our favorite places to go. The food is great. That being said, we will not be back. They gave us the wrong food which I realized when I got home and Geoff’s burrito was something the baby could eat it was so small. I called up and talked to Kenny, the manager. The cashier admitted that we ordered two identical things and did not get that. Kenny apologized and said that the next time I came in they would give us another megajuana on him. So a couple weeks later and I called. They said they couldn’t/wouldn’t give it to us but would give us another baby burrito. What? We got charged for something we didn’t get and now you won’t give it to us? But to the music.

Playing For Change is an awesome group. They are trying to promote peace through music. They went around the world and recorded local musicians playing different songs.

The first song we chose was “War/No More Trouble”. This is one of Geoff’s favorite songs. We discuss whether Bono, who sings on the song, is doing this for his ego or because he’s actually a good guy. The live chatoom really enjoyed it.

Our second song was “Stand By Me”. A classic and done well. The chatroom wasn’t as into this one, preferring the original. I realized that since I saw the video first, I really appreciated the worldliness of this song.

The final song was “Love Rescue Me”. I read the liner notes for this song from the CD before I heard it and again, it made more of an impact. Peace can be brought through music.
