Let me start off by saying I KNOW there should be an apostrophe up there, in the title, but for some reason certain podcatchers don’t like apostrophes….it drives me nuts, too.
The new album is appropriately named, Tumbledown. Mike Herrera may be familiar to you if you were a fan of MxPx although this new project is not quite as punky.
“Let’s Drink” is the first song we chose to review and it was funny, well sung, well written, well played. A fine drinking song, indeed!
We discuss our weight loss with those in the chatroom also. We are working toward that 1000 pound SomaCow goal!
Our second song was “Butcher of San Antonio”. We loved this as well! It also got awesome reviews from the live chatroom. There was some discussion over who or what the butcher was. Do you know? Let us know here!

Our final song was “Movin’ On”. I cursed it. I said that we often have two awesome songs and then an ‘eh’ third one. Not that “Movin’ On” was bad, it just wasn’t as good as our first two. Now, as often happens, after hearing it during editing I appreciated it more. Maybe some songs just take a double listen.

I thought this a was a great episode, and I really enjoyed this band.
