We’ve had past music from Die So Fluid but recently got this album, Not Everybody Gets a Happy Ending which just came out in the US last month.
The first song was “Pigsy” and wow. Great song all around. The music, the beat, the vocals! A few of us noted a bit of a lag, maybe on the dummer’s part? But overall a very enjoyable upbeat song and a great way to start my solo ComaSow night. Yeah, Geoff was out of town and missed but he will be back live this Wednesday night!
The next song was “Throw You Away”. This one was more of a ballad. Not as upbeat but still an enjoyable song, at least in my book. The chat room was not so keen on it. Some listeners came in missing the first song and were not so impressed. I’ll let you judge.
Our next song was “Swam Beneath Me” but it was under a minute long and thankfully so! I mean play on your album, have fun, but it sounded just like they found their sound effects board.
So we picked another full song to play, “Existential Baby” which was the second single to be played off the album so we had hope. They did not disappoint! As was the first song, this was well played. Mixed reviews overall on her voice. I personally like it, it draws me in and it’s in my range so singing along has potential.
And at the end of the episode, Geoff surprised us with a call. He wanted to tease who won the March SomaCow Leaderboard. You can check out what the leaderboard is all about at our forum and try to win April. Congrats to ComaSow listener RSilva for winning $50.00 to Amazon for March.
